How I label what you’re reading
- Official guidance
- A clearly identified primary reference, such as CMS, a payer or a professional standard. My explanation of that guidance is not the same thing as the official source.
- Analysis
- My interpretation of a subject or a practical teaching explanation. It should not be read as a claim that a particular client result was achieved.
- Field observation
- Something I have observed through my own work. I share these only when the context can be explained responsibly and any necessary permission has been confirmed.
- Framework
- A structured way I use to explain or approach a problem. I only present a framework as my own when the authorship and context are clear.
- Case evidence
- Documented work with a defined problem, scope, action and outcome. Numerical results need a clear baseline, time period, method and permission to share.
Dates mean something
“Published” shows when a piece first appeared. “Updated” means the content changed in a meaningful way. “Reviewed” shows when I last checked the material for accuracy. Always confirm current payer and program guidance for the relevant service date.
Sources are not endorsements
A linked source supports the point it is attached to, not every opinion on the page. A link does not imply partnership, certification or endorsement. Sample examples are clearly described as examples rather than real client results.
How search helps
Search helps you find relevant pages on this website. It does not make up answers, inspect patient records or provide patient-specific coding, coverage or appeal decisions. If there is no useful match, I would rather say so than guess.
Privacy before proof
Patient information, confidential client records and identifying screenshots do not belong in public case studies. Evidence must be safe to share before it appears here. Please don’t enter patient details into search, contact forms or calculators.
