Entered medical billing
Began working inside the day-to-day realities of U.S. medical billing and revenue cycle operations.
About Azeem
My career has grown from working individual claims to building teams, teaching professionals, and leading a revenue cycle company. I still believe the best strategy begins with understanding what actually happens inside the workflow.
“Make the work clearer, make ownership visible, and help people understand why their decisions matter.”
Professional progression
I began my medical billing career in 2017 and built my experience across claims, eligibility, payment posting, denials, A/R, credentialing, coding workflows, reporting, and client operations. The early work gave me the account-level view: what happened, what information is available and what the account needs next.
Working across those responsibilities changed the question. It was no longer only how to move one account forward, but how documentation, payer workflows, reporting and team handoffs affect each other.
As my responsibilities grew, so did my focus. I became interested not only in completing the work, but in designing the systems, training, and accountability that help an entire team perform it consistently.
I teach medical billing at Riphah International University. My approach is to explain the system, teach the workflow and help learners reason through what the work needs in a practical setting.
Today I lead Elevate Revenue Group and continue developing this body of writing, educational resources and tools. The aim is to document useful thinking—not to replace evidence with a title. My perspective sits between U.S. healthcare operations and Pakistan's growing community of RCM professionals.
